On account of current developments, have done the #movetodon thing to mop up the few accounts from Twitter that I want to make sure I follow here if possible.
@stuartgibson Dammit.
@stuartgibson See, I can't actually tell if you made that up or not. I can believe multiple books featuring sexy demons, with almost identical titles.
Then there's https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hellbent_(novel), apparently.

A very enjoyable follow-up to Ninth House. Looking forward to the next one. https://micro.blog/books/9781250866684
Some of the arrangement is a little cheesy, but I quite like this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slkJkfgj-bw

RT THIS. This is the link to apply for a free ‘Voter Authority Certificate’ so you can continue to vote in UK elections now that photo ID is compulsory. Looks like it’s going to be down to all of us to shout about it. https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate

@mishellbaker I hope you have a good birthday!
Following for a couple of reasons: Borderline is in my TBR pile (very near the top), and I recognised your name from there. Now I enjoy your posts.
The Chancellor of the Exchequer getting hit for multiple millions in settlement to avoid prosecution for tax evasion while in charge of Boris Johnson's government's finances, gagging the press with threats of SLAPP lawsuits, and being up to his eyeballs in a crooked speculative finance bubble over PPE gear during COVID, is absolutely on point for the Conservatives.
Like putting a libertarian bankster and private medical speculator in charge of the NHS.
Theirs is a parliament of thieves.
