Definitely looking forward to the combination of truly unhinged AI hype and a writers strike. “Do we even _need_ writers?”, some over-paid exec is saying somewhere, while asking ChatGPT to finish the script to Severance season 3.
@jamesthomson honestly, there were parts of Severance that came so out of left field that they may as well have been written by ChatGPT.
Given that one of the big complaints of “AI” is that it makes strange leaps in supposedly factual data, maybe writing sci-fi is a good application for it?

@jamesthomson maybe ChatGPT just does the major out there plot twists: “you mean PCalc was installed on all those Macs to sabotage them for that ‘engineer in Ireland’ outburst from Steve Jobs? And Tim Cook is secretly being controlled by James Thomson?”
