Weight Loss Journey Stuff
10 days and 2kg down. It's a good start but I also recognise that a lot of that is water weight and bloating from having had a TERRIBLE diet for months.
After this week I'm expecting more realistic weight loss of around 0.5kg to 1kg a week.
Not overly active due to post-covid fatigue still being a thing but have managed to make major changes to diet including reducing the amount of gluten (particularly bread) I'm eating, replaced with lots of veg and low fat protein.

Weight / Body Stuff
Back on the weight loss wagon. Haven’t been feeling good about my body for a while.
Interestingly, it looks like I’m a similar weight now than I was one year post start of lockdown. At that time, it took me 6 months to shift 8kgs and ended up slightly slimmer than pre lockdown.
Let’s see if I can replicate that again. 🤞
Himself has picked up a winter cold so we’ve been indoors watching a lot of Netflix.
Glass Onion - fantastic sequel and well worth the wait. Enjoying how Daniel Craig is embracing playing camp characters. Few things are hotter than a man secure in himself.
1899 - a glorious headfuck. Incredibly well done.
Treason - despite the cast, it’s not very good.
Characters are unbelievable and plot is nonsense.
The Witcher: Blood Origin - very enjoyable, and nice addition to the universe.
Work Christmas outing completed, went home, passed out, awake at 11pm, decided to do our fresh food shop so found ourselves in Tesco at 1am.
It was the best decision ever - very few people around other than staff, and we got pretty much everything we needed.
It also justifies snacks in bed before passing out again.
It's nearly time to Drink Coffee and Know Things. Serverless Days Belfast will return in early 2023. Please pass the word...
