YouTube has started putting various transphobic, homophobic and ableist bollocks in front of me, and I don't know what I clicked on to make it think I was into that.
My YouTube viewing is pretty much entirely music videos, guitar YouTubers and some microcontrollers and other electronics stuff.

Unfortunately as a white guy I have noticed that occasionally Da Algariddem will notice I am white and male and decide I must be interested in being an ignorant bigot. Right when I turned 40, for a hot minute the ads were all guns, trucks, "EDC tactical" shit, you know, insecure masculinity and insecure masculinity accessories.

@marramgrass there's certain youtubers it always pushes on people: I watched a radiohead video once, and the side bar recommendations were all other radiohead music videos, except for one jordan peterson video in the middle

@marramgrass I once watched a series of Anita Sarkeesian videos on there, and YouTube made it its mission for the next year to show me every single batshit, racist, sexist, conspiracy video that ever mentioned her.
Maybe you watched something by someone who has been targeted by a similar campaign?
