YouTube’s “no ad blockers here” bit is getting more intrusive. There’s now a delay before it can be dismissed.

This might actually push me to pay for Premium.

@marramgrass I’ve had Premium for so long I find it unbearable to use without.

@theronster The price had put me off. But now it doesn’t 😂

@marramgrass @theronster pro-tip: the price was putting me off because I was looking in the iOS app, it’s cheaper directly from the YouTube site.

Ron might have some crazy “VPN to Thailand” advice on pricing though.

@stuart @theronster I noticed yesterday it’s a lot cheaper on the web. Sneaky.

Really couldn’t be bothered mucking with VPNs though.

@marramgrass @theronster it was worth it just to avoid screen mode switching in the middle of videos on my tv.

@stuart @marramgrass No VPN needed… but if you can pay for your YouTube subscription in, say, India… you might find it’s only a couple of quid a month. Maybe.

@stuart @marramgrass @theronster Assume they pass in the 30% that Apple takes when you go through the iOS app? I subscribe via the web.
