Nope, all still there. I think you can even undo the pointing to the new account and resurrect the old one.

@marramgrass Posts are kinda lost, follows/followers should mostly come.
My “solution” to the posts was to retoot all the statuses I thought were worthwhile from the new account so they're still in the timeline if you scroll back enough. The old account doesn't go away unless you explicitly delete it, it just gets frozen with a pointer to the new one.
