But I don't want to do that. I want a TL of lots of different things from all kinds of people.

@BeebsyMcA I think the mast app lets you link your multiple accounts/instances to it, and they can all be viewed in your TL.

@BeebsyMcA the interests here do seem to be more segregated so you probably would find more photography etc on a designated server (how you search is beyond me). But I signed up to another server, purely to help find my folk from the other place cos it only shows you their followers on your own server. Once you find and follow them it’s ok. I don’t actually read the other instance atm but it’s helpful to find folk.

@AngieYWine @BeebsyMcA you can see all a user's followers by looking at their profile on another instance without having to sign up to that instance. E.g. https://mastodon.cloud/@seanddotmedotuk

@seanddotmedotuk @AngieYWine Yes but if I try to follow one of your followers it says I have to be on that instance or copy their address then go back to my instance, paste it and follow 😳😜🤔

@BeebsyMcA You’re obviously not proper stalker material: I’ve been hoovering up people to follow from the followers of people I’ve already found here :)

@BeebsyMcA It's a bit random. I search on Mastodon addresses I've seen in Twitter, sometimes I have to enter my shezza_t@mastondon.social in a field before it'll
let me follow the search result. but mostly I wander around the accounts my Mastodon bubble are following/being followed by. @seanddotmedotuk

@shezza_t @seanddotmedotuk @BeebsyMcA I think the behaviour you see is dependent on the version of Mastodon their instance is running.
