Eight years ago today, I thought "this Swift thing is awesome, I want to write about it," and registered hackingwithswift.com. It's been an absolute blast ever since, and I'm grateful to everyone who has joined me on this journey 🙇‍♂️

@twostraws eight years ago I was waiting to get through the publishing process for my Swift book with Peachpit Press. It took ages to print and distribute and was a complete flop (at least partly) because it was out of date before it hit the shelves.

It wasn’t long after I saw Hacking with Swift that I realised that print publishing for tech books was effectively dead, and that you’d done an amazing job of embracing the new way to publish and teach. I salute you!
