You can travel anywhere. Where do you want to go?
My wish list: Iceland, Norway/Sweden, somewhere in the Indian Ocean

@BeebsyMcA Back to New Zealand, but new places would be Canada, Japan, Australia, and Italy (I was there on a school trip and really need to visit again).

@shezza_t @BeebsyMcA I would go to New Zealand as well. Have been 3 times but only once as an adult, so I feel like I’ve a lot of places yet to see.

@mo I’ve been twice as an adult and still feel like I’ve loads of places to see :)

There’s loads of European cities I’d love to see too. Maybe some day we’ll do that big train trip OpGeek talks about. @BeebsyMcA

@shezza_t @BeebsyMcA I think we should compare notes on New Zealand some time. I’ve been to Hawkes Bay a fair bit (I have relatives in Hastings) and a few trips to Taupo/Rotorua.

But my wife and I spent over 3 weeks there for our honeymoon in 2007, and we drove from Auckland to Queenstown and up to Christchurch. Was quite the journey but worth every second!

@mo Our first trip was in 2005. We got married in Arthur’s Pass and mostly traveled by train around South Island. Christchurch was our base because of wedding admin, we also visited Hamner Springs, Kaikoura, and Blenheim.

Our second trip was in 2015 and this time we made started in North Island. Rotorua, Christchurch, Arthur’s Pass, Lake Moeraki, Queenstown, Stuart Island, and finishing off in Auckland. Lot of driving, but oh the scenery!

@BeebsyMcA

@shezza_t @mo I feel I will have really missed something if I don't get to NZ.

@BeebsyMcA @shezza_t there is nowhere in the world that comes close to the beauty of Ireland as New Zealand does.

@mo @shezza_t It seems to be like Ireland with massive mountains. 😁

@mo @BeebsyMcA @shezza_t it’s an amazing country and I feel lucky to have visited a few times. we considered moving there a decade or so ago, and the only reason we didn’t is that it’s so far away from everywhere else.
