What's the farthest away from home you've been to a gig? Mine is Basia in San Francisco (@don was also there, but I can't vouch if that was his furthest away gig).
I also saw Bat for Lashes in San Francisco, but at a venue to the east in the city, so closer to Belfast!

@ianRobinson London to see Midnight Oil. Three times. The only played the second and third times. They broke up for 15 years just before the first gig I was going to see.
I know London is not as far as San Francisco, but I went for a gig and waited 15 years for the band to play?
@mo Nice. It’s not a competition. London is the furthest I’ve gone specifically for gigs (Queen, Marina, Kate Bush). The San Francisco ones just happened to be on when I was there for WWDC.
Toronto will take the crown from London for me in November. The Beaches playing two nights in a big venue in their hometown. I haven’t been away for a decade, and only go places for specific events. So I’m going to Toronto 😊
