@ianRobinson I’m not sure either. I remember school classes held in the playground, water shortages, and envy of neighbours who had a freezer big enough to make ice lollies 😎
@shezza_t I remember my mates and I sitting under freshly hung out washing to let it drip on us when it was too hot to play cricket. Playing cricket was all we did for years 😊
@ianRobinson Fairy Liquid bottles filled with water as a Seventies version of a super soaker was a favourite round my way :)
@shezza_t @ianRobinson There was always that one kid whose mum didn't rinse the bottle out properly and you ended up with Fairy Liquid in your eyes.
