Hdmi CEC, amazing when it works. Press a button on my Nintendo Switch it turns on, the AV reciever turns on, the TV turns on and outputs to the correct source. When it doesn’t work, it’s the most frustrating thing in the world. It works enough of the time to be worth it but doesn’t often enough for it to be infuriating.
@ncremins I can’t get any of 3 TVs to turn off when the Switch is put into Sleep mode. Standard practice in our house is to then turn on the AppleTV, and immediately power it off again, as this will turn off the TV.
@mo aye I’ve had scenarios like that too. I recently painted the home and had to rebuild everything back up piece by piece. I wonder if I done something in that process.
