I was today years old when I realised you could double tap the 📺 button on the Apple TV and get a quick task switcher.
@acf presuming you know the long press on TV icon to get to the side panel for switching users/audio/sleep etc.
@marcpalmer yes that one I did know. And a short press is “home” :)
@acf LOL just the other day I was resetting a bunch of old Apple TVs and had cause to rediscover the incantations for “reboot the device from the remote” and the more unusual and necessary “reset to 1080p HD from the remote”. Apple TV set to 4K HDR is 100% unusable when connected to a 4K non-HDR TV! I was glad for the engineers adding this latter reset option.
