After enough of you messaged asking if I was going to do it… fine, I’ll be that guy, and wear Vision Pro on my flight home. It certainly ought to make it pass a lot faster! 😂
Landed. Some notes:
- Obviously I used AirPods; flights are noisy enough without adding more.
- It detected movement immediately and prompted to enable travel mode.
- Even in comparatively low light it did a great job – the dino demo is still spine-tingling 😅
- There’s a very slight jitter from general plane shake; environments aren’t quite as peaceful as you’d hope.
- Ultimately you see almost nothing and hear almost nothing, and with a socket in your seat it will make flights much happier.
Fellow Brits: this was the final amount payable for importing an Apple Vision Pro. Your amount is likely to be a little lower – this was a 1TB device with AppleCare, travel case, spare battery, and two extra light seals at different sizes.
