The Sky Q box regularly throwing a wobbler would be slightly less egregious if there was a way to reboot it using the remote. Instead, I have to rummage around in the AV cupboard and yank the power cord. Like an animal.
@vinnycoyne Get one of those timer plugs for Christmas lights and set it to be off for 5 mins in the middle of the night, then plug in the thing and boom, nightly reboots!

@vinnycoyne @PadraigOCinneide isn’t this how Apache used to work? After handling a set number of requests each httpd process would terminate and be replaced so that the impact of memory leaks wouldn’t compound.
I use a similar, but a bit more expensive. I use Eve smart plugs that I can switch off and on again from HomeKit.
